The Honeymonster is otherwise known to those he meets as Daniel Llewellyn or to his online friends as Fremen. Gis title, The Honeymonster, was appointed by his successful brother owner of R. Llewellyn Electrical Contractors of Andover Hampshire.
Daniel likes virtually every aspect of computing such as day-to-day use to programming to server management. He is currently studying towards an MCSA certification but has not yet decided whether he will use this qualification to get into a Server Administrator role for a company other than his own.
Daniel is a joint partner in IND-Web.com a small, vibrant, and very approachable webhosting company that offers free blog hosting as part of their setup. The model behind IND-Web.com’s free blog hosting is that of “freemium” where they offer you much sought-after goodies, such as having the blog listed under your own domain name, as pay-for optional extras. IND-Web.com are also in the process of integrating their paid hosting into the platform that hosts the free blogs so that a single username and password can be used to gain access to all products a particular customer has ordered from, and hosted by, the company.
Daniel is fast approaching 30 and fears that his hair is receding far too rapidly for someone so young. Yet when he looks at his brother who has lost a lot more hair than he, and is only two years older, Daniel realises that it is inevitable that his brother and himself will be mostly bald before they reach their forties.
What does Daniel blog about?
Daniel’s Blog was originally set up to serve as a creative and ranting outlet, but has since turned into mostly random technical posts that none of his family or friends really care to try to understand. He has recently come to the decision to try to focus the site a bit tighter towards the aspect of web hosting, web coding/programming and related technologies such as Apache/IIS, PHP/Phalanger+ASP.NET and MySQL.
As part of Daniel’s enrollment of himself into Microsoft®’s WebsiteSpark™ program, he now has access to top-end programming tools such as Expression Web and Visual Studio 2010. Daniel set up the Bowl Hat entity to corale his online activities under a brand that allows for a more professional image when working on business websites for clients.
Which Sites has THM created?
Besides helping with the implementation and maintenence of IND-Web.com, Daniel has worked on other online properties, some of which are listed in Bowl Hat’s Design Portfolio.
Why does Daniel talk about himself in the Third-Person?
While Daniel often talks openly about other people, products and services he feels self-conscious when talking about himself and therefore likes to add a level of abstraction between himself and the reader allowing for more freedom in openness. This abstraction takes the form of a third-person writing on Daniel’s behalf.
Either that or he just liked the style when writing this page.
